Damien Yee is currently working at Asian Counseling and Referral Service as
a clinical supervisor in the mental health and substance abuse programs. He is involved with the API Undoing
Institutionalized Racism group and is a 2000 graduate of the University of Washington School of Social Work. Damien
is passionate about cultural diversity and anti-racism work. He has been with the NCBI Seattle Chapter since 2001.
When not working or doing anti-oppression work, Damien enjoys fishing, scuba diving, Tai Chi, metalwork, and reading.
"I found that the experiential and healing approach that NCBI uses was a different and more heartfelt way of getting people to see oppression and want to change it. Information is most useful once people want to change oppression."
